A cooling water system in which water is used as cooling medium and is recycled. It is mainly composed of cooling equipment, water pump and pipeline. After cold water flows through production equipment that requires cooling (often referred to as heat exchanger, condenser, reactor), the temperature rises and, if discharged immediay, cold water is used only once (called a direct current cooling water system). If the temperature and cold water flow through the cooling equipment, the water temperature will drop back and the production equipment can be pumped back to use again. The amount of cold water is greatly reduced，It often saves more than 95%.Cooling water accounts for about 70% of the industrial water consumption. Therefore, the recirculating cooling water system has the function of saving energy.
